Silly MSP question

Hi All,

I've been working with max for around 20 years, but almost exclusively in the realm of jitter, so my foray into MSP is very rough. However, I got this additive signal generator patch going and it works really good for controlling visuals, however as I sweep my gain through various [*~ ] objects, I am getting some weird rapid yet brief clipping going up or down the range. I'm sure it is an easy fix, here is the subpatcher I am using to mix signals. I am sure it is something really basic, and I thank you for your input.
