strange buffer Info~ problem

Hello I want to make live.text show "Drop Sample" when no sample is loaded and show the sample name when a sample is loaded. Seams simple, but info~ sends out "something" when no sample is loaded. This "something" seams to be a symbol of "nothing". How to filter symbol "nothing" or convert it to "Drop Sample"?
