I'm a big fan of Loomer architect which  is also a dataflow program tailored made for midi , but sadly it has closed it doors .

It has a pretty nice module called 'data repeat 'with a variable repeat length ( expressed in ticks ) .

Example , when it receives a stream of numbers with regular intervals , it will hold the incoming nr for some amount of time untill the next one arrives 

One giff is max in action ( ignore the structure under the print ) , the output of the zl lookup is a pitch number shown in the console  

In loomer architect , the output goes into the 'data repeat 'set to 240 ( expressed in tick ) which equals 4 repeats .

I'm a bit  at loss how to re-create this effect in max

I have a plugin (Cinematic Rooms Pro) that is (or better can be) surround. In a DAW it automatically switches to the surround mode depending on the surround settings of the DAW and then shows a surround panner tab. When I use mc.vst~ @chan 6 for instance, I do get the outputs, but nut the pan tab. According Liquidsonic modern plug in implementation asks and gets this info from the DAW. How to get this info from the MAX mc.vst~ object?

Hi all,  this seems like a bug, as I didn’t find anything pointing out it’s an expected behavior:

I have a buffer~ with 8 different channels, and I’m sending a single ramp (0-1) via mc.dup~ 8 to mc.wave~ @chans 8.

However,  as output, which is sent to mc.daw @chans8  there are 8 identical channels - they all are playing the first channel in the buffer. 

(Yes, I need to use mc.wave~ for the task)

I cannot get the clue bar to go away. In the max preferences I've turned off the "Clues in toolbar" setting as well as unchecked "Clue Bar Shown by Default." In the patcher inspector windows I've set "Show Clue Bar on Open" to No (including subpatcher inspectors). But no matter what, when I open a patch it's there and I have to manually uncheck Clue Bar in the view menu for it to go away. Additionally, if I turn that setting off in the view menu for a subpatcher, close it, then reopen it the setting has returned.

I have confirmed that these setting are off in the preferences and inspector. Not sure if this is a bug or if I'm just configuring max or the patchers wrong. Would love some help with this.

I am looking for suggestions on how to control modulation with the pitch wheel.

What I want to do is when the pitch wheel is moved up, the modulation wheel also moves as well.

I have looked at MIDI monitors, and have seen that the  pitch and modulation are two different data types, so I don’t know that this is directly possible.

I have never been a fan of pitch or mod wheels, and would prefer a joystick just like the good ol’ Korg DW-8000 days. So, I’m trying to combine the two signals to one common control. Alternatively, I could map this to a single slider.
