How to get the measure number of each clip on a track in arrangement view?
I started learning M4L back at the beginning of the year... going through all the tutorials... but haven't really used it since.
Now I have a need... I'd like to output to a simple .txt file the position (measure number) of each clip on a track in arrangement view....
I stumbled across this, which made me realize such a thing should be possible.. but having trouble getting started.. would appreciate any tips while I attempt to figure this out.
The intent is to use this list of track numbers in Premiere Pro to automate the creation of keyframes.. (that part, I have already accomplished ;). ).. "just" need to get the data from Live.

Oh, my! Fantastic! Thank you so much.. will need to study it!
been playing around w/ this...
where does one find the list of properties one can 'get' on the live.object?
for example, is there a property that reports the start_time as time in seconds, instead of the measure (I know I asked for measure.. but thinking more about this... I'm ultimately having to convert measure to seconds)... and if the song had odd time signatures, or tempo changes, getting the actual time of each clip would be better.
Thx again!
translate object can translate bbu to ms
Awesome.. thx again for pointing me in the way...
