"latch" works differently in gen~ and under rnbo>gen~

Could you please help me understand if this is a bug?

I'm having an issue: when I create a gen~ patch under RNBO with a latch operator set to @init 1, it doesn’t return that initial value. However, if I create the same gen~ patch without RNBO, the latch operator behaves as expected.

Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
