live.object - get_current_smpte_song_time
Hi all,
I've noticed a weird behaviour while trying to retrieve time in ms from a Live Session.
Whenever there are tempo automations/changes, the values coming out from live.object through the "get_current_smpte_song_time" function differ from the right values in the info from Live.
I'm using Live 12.1.
Does this happen to anyone as well?
Is there another way of getting playing position in ms? I want to be able to sync the session with an external video player.

this has allways been so in Live and will probably remain so.
If you need a DAW that can run tempo based and absolute timer at same time
look elsewhere.

I only need to get the time position whenever a "play" happens.
The funny thing is that Ableton's transport is displaying it correctly. I guess the problem is the API, perhaps?
