I want to the set the time selection start, end from a M4L Generator. Sending a dict to live.miditool.out always get my the a error in Live.

Copy patch and select New From Clipboard in Max.

You bang [live.miditool.in], but no dictionary reaches [live.miditool.out]. In this case it's a matter of wrong wiring. You're sending [dict.pack clip:] to [live.miditool.out]. Instead, send [dict.join] to it.
