Max crash when saving embedded gen patcher.

Hi,

I have a project, with a main max patcher. This patcher contains a gen patcher [gen~ @gen maingen.gendsp] that's saved in the project directory, this maingen.dsp patcher contains yet another gen patcher [gen @gen subgen.gendsp], also saved in the project directory.

Now when I open the subgen patcher and save it after an edit, Max crashes.

I can't reproduce the issue in a project where i start form scratch, so it's probably related to the specific project, but i've got no idea what is wrong.

Is this a bug or is this pilot error?
Any way to get this to work, what to check?
