Max For Live Tuning System not returning valid LOM id
Is there a trick for reaching the LOM's Tuning System?
A little tick box in the settings or something that i'm missing.
I've tried setting the path "live_set tuning_system" but always returns id 0
Same with the built-in M4L snippet M4L.api.ObserveTuningSystem
returns id 0
same here... maybe a bug ?
Do you have a tuning loaded in Live? If not, it returns 'id 0'.
Oh sorry for my confusion, i thought this observed the key and scale in Live, didnt realize Tuning Systems is a whole different thing.
Yes, they are different things.
The scale, the root note, and the intervals of the last selected clip can be found at the Song level: "path live_set".
You can crack open this device I made a few years ago.
