mc.poly, poly, mcs poly, mc., thispoly - confusion

hi there,

I have this test patch and trying to have a multichannel patch as it's entire thing used in a poly environment meaning e.g. thereby using 10 channels in the mc environment in let's say 10 different poly voices/instances.

I'm running into issues with voice allocations, specifically that my upon sending another midi note, the entire envelope retriggers from the start. How do I remove that?

I see that the "thispoly" object seems to play a role here. I cannot grasp it's proper use as of now, even though I read through the help patches.
