VST~ and MC.VST~ not recognizing my vsts

In max 8, I could host NI plugins
Now I am opening Max 9 to build a VST tester, and upon loading the first step, neither VST~ or MC.VST~ is allowing me to host
if i am not mistaken you are trying to load the standalone.
That makes sense, I didn’t realize they were ~different things~
Guess I need to dig around where NI puts all the internal files
Got it. In the hidden library
Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/
that folder is not invisible, max also has vstscan object, look into help file of it
btw. NI standalones are VST hosts which also simply utilize the plug-ins. :)
i´ve hacked mine and run third party plug-ins in it as standalone.
