The patch is suppose to generate a midi note and this part that I am attaching is suppose to alter the note with pitchbend. Since the notes that I am generating have different sustains I want to bend the pitch individually, which would need MPE. I got this working with Xfer Serum, but it won't work with other synths in Live (Wavetable, Opereator, etc) and Serum2. I don't know whats the problem. I want some help.

I’m currently using one [live.toggle] to enable another.  So when Toggle 1 is turned on, it also turns on Toggle 2. However, what I want to do ultimately is this… 

If Toggle 2 was previously in an 'off' state (before being turned on by Toggle 1), I want it to turn back off again when Toggle 1 is turned off. If it was previously in an 'on' state, I want it to remain on when Toggle 1 is turned off.

I can’t help feeling I’m missing something basic here, but it’s been driving me mad for days! 

I’ve been looking at possibly using [col] or [dict] to store all previous states of Toggle 2, then looking one step back in the sequence to find its previous state. I’m wondering though if there’s a simpler way of doing this, or if there’s a specific object (or setting within [live.toggle] itself) that I could use for this sort of thing? Or should I continue on the [col] / [dict] path for this?

I have this most simple device (1 live.path and 1 live.observer objects), and when I load it, it marks Live's undo history with a "Undo change" message.

I have absolutely no idea what's going on.

Could someone confirm this, maybe explain it, and even better, help me fix it ?

It seems that a subdiv in a newly loaded patcher wont evaluate a recently assigned prob value as soon as the transport starts...is there a workaround for this?

If you load up this example patcher and then start the transport, the first subdiv of 16 gets output according to subdiv's default @prob 1 while the following subdivs get the more recently assigned prob 0. On subsequent loops, no subdivs are output so its only that first loop where the new prob value isn't evaluated for the very first subdiv. 

This is a dumbed down example but its causing me problems in a sequencer device I'm building whereby the first note is often triggered when it shouldnt be or not triggered when it should be after my device has been loaded and the transport is started for the first time. Beyond that first time, the first subdiv is output correctly. 

For anyone who might want to test it more quickly by deleting/re-loading the device in Live i'll include an .amxd

I'd like to control Live parameters from my M4L device and I am wondering how I can use String Representation instead of the min max numbers. Currently I can only send numbers in the min/max range not the actual values on the Live Device:

 parameter in Operator has a 0.00 ms to 20.0 s range but min and max values I get in my M4l device are 0.0 to 1.0 

How can I send 0.00 ms to 20.0 s values to Live instead of using min and max?

I am having problems with loading presets that use mapul8tor, basically it seems the parameters bindings are broken on loading the preset. In the Max Console window I see errore like:

I really would like to fix these errors but it is a complicated patch and I could really use a bit of help. I have looked inside the patch, I found this 

 subpatcher that I think is responsible for the parameters binding functionality. Any idea what could be causing this issue?

Hello, I am trying to build a device where I can get a display value from a selected device parameter to an observer. In the attached maxpat I can only get property value. What do I mean with display value: Lets say I load up Live's compressor and I want to send the value of the attack to the observer. I want to get the value that is displayed in Live, that is 0.01ms-1s, but right now I only get values between 1 and 0.

So, I built this M4L device. It works great in Max MSP standalone but 

doesn't output audio when running inside Ableton Live

*It does output audio to live when I open it in edit mode. Never happened to me, so weird.
