I am a user of MaxMsp version 7. I just updated to MaxMsp 8.
Despite having indicated the path to the program to access the object (file preferences), several external objects that I usually use (specifically yin~, and multiouts~) seem not compatible: when writing them in the patch, the next message:

multiouts~: unable to load object bundle executable

yin~: unable to load object bundle executable

Could you tell me an updated version of these objects?

There is an individual sample for each MIDI note, split by frequency.

Instead of using lots of split objects, I thought I would use coll.

The patch takes a frequency input, and the idea is that for every frequency 'query' the patch will scan through the list in coll, and produce a lower and upper boundary for each sample, via split.

So, for instance, if between 32.7 and 34.649 Hz - buf pianosamps1 will be triggered.

If between 34.65 and 36.7, buf pianosamps 2 will be triggered. 

I don't seem to be able to make this work and I think it's some minor syntax error.

Hello! I have a C chord in number boxes (36 40 43). I want to automate that every time a bang is activated by metronome, a different addition is made, so that the result is a different chord and then, make a progression of chords.) For example if I -1 -2 and +0 that chord of C major, I'll get the V, G Major. After that, I want to do vi, IV, and go back to I. Which command can I use for that addition in steps? Thanks

How to add different values, in steps, with a metronome?

Hello,
I am using Max version 7.3. I would like to use IR for reverb, using external plugins like Convology XT, which are used as vst~ objects in Max 7.
I know it's much easier to do this with new versions of Max and especially Max-for-live, but at the moment, I can't do it due to the limitations of my computer (I'm using MacOs 10.12.6 Sierra).
I have downloaded this plugin from Impulse Record (the free Factory plugin). The object is recognized by Max, but it doesn't work: the usual "open" message on vst objects doesn't open it (plus double-clicking the object doesn't open its window either). The sound passes through the object without being processed.
What do I need to do to make this plugin work in this Max environment?

The help of Max 8 mentions the "attrui" object which can have the attribute "attrfilter".

The help states:"Set the names of the attribute you want to display in the popup menu."I chose @ fontface as an attribute then I wrote "attrui @ attrfilter fontface [8]" to see if this attribute appeared in the "attributes" menu of the attrui object.

Hello, I just started using Max for live to use the device I have attached here, based on the video link. I really liked the result shown in the video using different midi files. However, when I loaded the patch in Max for live the output was simply rapid straight 16th notes, nothing like in the video. Just wanted to ask for some help setting this up correctly...
