Hi there, I am opening some of the help option out of some objects and trying to listen to the patch examples and no sound is coming out. I can see the sound happening graphically but I can´t hear anything. The Audio on/off turns on as orange, wich I understand is because it reproduce the sound from that specific window patch and no others. My own patch works and make sound. Audio settings are correct and worked well until now. What can be the reason of the problem? I am using windows.

I would like to retrieve the parameters and values from a few vst objects, so I can use that to loadbang my vst presets when opening the patch. As the patch will be used on other computers, I would like to have a solid solution to make sure the vsts work.

In the patch below I use one vst which has 142 parameters, so I count them down with get $1. Then I unpack all my values and would like to store them in a list. Here I use coll, but somehow the values are always 0, so something must be wrong. Also I don't really know, if I have my list, how can I use that to bang the settings into my vst?

The last couple of weeks I have been trying to rebuild Reaktors chaotic sound generator, Skrewell  in Max. A bit of work, but gone pretty well - until recently. And now I am really stuck. It's not easy to explain the problem for people that is not familiar with the reaktor ensemble, but I am hoping to reach at least one person who knows both Reaktor and Max, and can help me make sense of this. 

The Skrewell ensemble has a parameter called Flow, that shatters the sound from a group of pulse oscillators and creates a chaotic structure. Flow controls multiple parameters in the ensemble, for instance frequency and amplitude modulation and resonance for multiple filters. I have patched everything correctly in Max, but I can't recreate this chaotic structure.

I tried to debug and found out that what causes the chaos when tweaking the Flow dial in reaktors Skrewell, is the resonance parameter in a 2-pole filter being turned 

. This is a pretty surprising behavior. When doing the same in my Max rebuild, it behaves as expected when turning down a filters resonance. So, I can not seem to wrap my head around this. 

Someone in here have any idea why this is happening (I know this is a pretty weak explanation, but hope someone has been playing around with reaktor at some point). I also know the creator of Skrewell, John Nowak, was a part of this forum some years ago......

I have an offset with datas received in ESP32

Below I want to control one strip of 256 leds.

Here I send 768 datas (RGB)  + 1 datas ( "the row"  where pixels will be controlled)

As we can see, I receive several time r,g ,b and after there is an offset with datas.

I tested to send less datas, but it doesn't change the bug.

When these bugs are fixed, I would like to send with row 0 the R,G,B data to leds 0 to 255 and with row 1 to leds 256 to 512. (when there are two lines at [jit.noise 3 char 256 2])

I’m running into a Max/MSP question I haven’t been able to find a clear answer to. I’ve been looking into the difference between snippets and modules. From what I understand, snippets are more like copy-paste—if you change the original, it doesn’t update the others. But modules do update across patches, which is exactly what I’m looking for. The part I’m stuck on: how do you create your own folder structure for modules, and how can you make them show up in the Max sidebar? Would really appreciate any help or tips!

But if this parameter is contained in a bpatcher, there is a [...] added after its name. Is there a way to have more control on this name ?
