At first I thought I was hitting some size limit but the failure occurs even with a single buffer with a wav 1.33MB in size.

Is there any way to get more detailed logging from the build cloud?

I just want to report, that your recent update killed all of my ~Gen devices such as: Compositor Max for Live, SASER and Compositor v9 NRTOS standalone.

Once I load my device in Max 9.2 it starts to spam with numerous errors in Max window. I attach the Max window error log with this topic. It seems that messages just pass through the ~Gen object. None of my code doesn't work.

Neither on the msp middle outlet, nor on the max number right outlet.

Hi, I think that this could be something to fix. When I generate lines with jit.gl.mesh using @draw_mode lines I can change their width using @line_width, but when I generate lines using @draw_mode lines_adjacency or @draw_mode lines_strip_adjacency, then @line_width doesn't work anymore.

Hi everyone, again. Since I’ve been using Jitter a lot lately, I’ve been running into some strange behavior from time to time. Maybe it’s my mistake, or maybe it’s a bug to fix. I’m posting here to learn more about it and to get some opinion from who knows more about.

.node, when used as a 3D shapes aggregator, exhibits two “suspicious” behaviors:

.node don’t seem stable in the 3D plane of 

. They move on their own in strange ways when using 

(In the patch I built, try zooming in and out of the 3D space with the mouse, and you’ll see that the shapes created with the left algorithm 

.gridshape always remain consistent and stay in their positions, while those created with the right algorithm, which also uses 

.gridshape, do not remain consistent in space)

Maybe i need to link jit.gl.node to jit.gl.handle too in some way?

.node slows A LOT down the calculation in a way that is not linked only to the number of 3d vertices used, but there is more. Is that extra necessary or bug?

(In the patch I’ve built, try entering a high value for N (a high value for N depends on your computer: 300 generated shapes might be high for some and low for others) and generate N shapes using the algorithm on the left (

.gridshape), and notice how the movement of the 

.handle remains Always smooth (low computational cost even with high number of shapes generated); however, even if you set N/2 in the algorithm on the right that uses 

.gridshape instances, the total number of vertices used remains the same with N/2), there is a massive slowdown. At first, I thought there was a bottleneck between the GPU and CPU, but when you remove the 

.node, this doesn’t happen, even when the number of shapes constructed, and thus the number of vertices used with

Similar to a previous thread: I was unable to do RNBO work because max suddenly refused to edit, create or open RNBO.

The console error was "Could not connect to RNBO buildserver" and several other errors including "Unable to get gRPC URI and WebSocket port from codegen server". After a day of frustration investigating network, firewalls, packet captures etc, I tried repair and reinstall, which didn't fix the issue. 

Then I deleted (Username)/AppData/Roaming/Cycling '74

This fixed the problem (so far!).  As detailed earlier by NUMB_CHANNELS in the thread

I hadn't had any crashes or issues or software updates, so I don't know how anything got corrupted in the Cycling '74 files. 

I hope this will help others who run into the issue.
