I have been able to render a true 360° image by changing the camera rotation for each pixel in the image and saving the 1x1 pixel texture in a matrix using setcell. Obviously this is very slow since I have to render the entire world again for each pixel in the image. What would be a quicker way to do this? I have been able to record 360° videos in 8K using 4 cameras (

) but the resampling of the textures results in some distortion and there is always an empty spot in the top and bottom of the image. Also I would like to move the camera around ever so slightly for each pixel (or each column of pixels) to enable "true" omni directional stereo imaging. That will not work properly with 4 cameras or any amount of cameras that is less than the amount of pixels in a row. Does anyone have some thoughts about this?

I am trying to port some GLSL-based Shadertoy shaders to max msp using jit.gl.slab. While most are straightforward to port by re-assigning bindings, some make use of bitwise operaters such as >>, <<, &. These appear to only to be supported starting at GLSL 1.3. My specific case:

inside a *.jxs file, this method is used to draw digits - capturing the individual pixels using the binary representations of decimals (here a 6x4 grid):

Does anyone know a solution to porting this?

Just recently I updated to Tahoe on my Macbook Pro M1 and now Max is super laggy. Ever other few object I want to place makes the software hang for a few seconds before going on. I cannot use it. Help patches open up super slow etc. etc. 

I didn't have issues before. I updated Max too after the macos update. Anyone having similar experiences or suggestions?

Sometimes I need to close the serial port and open it later on. 

It's done with messages "close" and "open" to the [serial] object.

But once closed, the serial port never opens again. I can neither send nor receive.

To open the closed port, I have to re-initialize the [serial] object, for example by changing it's name and back. I think I tried everything like refresh, setting the port again etc. to no avail.

Is there a known bug of this kind in [serial]?
