I could use a little help integrating either grooveduck or zero crossing faders into the phasor-based sample slicer in gen~. Ideally only a slight delay would be introduced to smooth out amplitude discontinuities. I'm much more comfortable programming in Max but I'm having a hard time with learning gen. I've been working at this for a long time but I'm hoping someone here has the knowledge and skill to do this in a few minutes.

I made a small "scratch" patch, to use a monome Arc to act as a vinyl deck. It works great but I get clicks when it stops. I'm trying to apply a fade out when the signal driving the [groove~] gets in the close to zero region, but no luck. Any help with that ?

, the classic Moog ladder filter simulation originally implemented in Pure Data by Miller Puckette.

bob~ models the Moog transistor ladder using Runge–Kutta numerical integration of a nonlinear differential equation, following work by Stilson, Stinchcombe and Huovilainen. It’s a very interesting approach compared to more common digital ladder approximations, because the solver integrates the circuit dynamics directly and includes a nonlinear saturation stage.

The port happened a bit unexpectedly: during a recent training session, a student brought up the original bob~ implementation and we started discussing it. That conversation made me want to port it to Max and make it available as a simple external.

 and contributors for the original bob~ implementation in Pure Data.

If anyone finds it useful, or wants to experiment further with nonlinear ladder models inside Max, feel free to use or modify it.

I have a row of 16 toggle switches, their state is collected into a multislider.

I can then shift the states inside the multislider, but I'd like to "draw" the shifted values back

to the toggles, but, as you'll see, I always run into stack overflow.

I have put some unicode into the "annotation" attribute of a "umenu" object, and the letter at beginning of words gets incorrectly replaced with a space. First picture shows the unicode text entry in the "annotation" attribute -- all good so far.

But then when hovering over that object where clue window comes up, the CLUE window corrupts the output:

The first unicode character appears, nice, but then every word that follows, it's first letter is replaced with a "space". The next two unicode character, they have gone poof up in smoke and are replaced by a "space".

Any one have a work around for this? Hmm, apart from the trivial solution, don't use those funny slanted up arrows etc.

Me and my friend have a big liveset with a combined track count of around 800 ableton tracks. All the songs are organized in group tracks, each song is a different group. Because we have around 30 songs with a lot plugins i wanne make a device that turns on/off  these plugins per song.

The device that chooses wich song to play is already made, but i now need a max for live device that i can drop on the grouptrack of the song and searches for all the tracks that are in this grouptrack.  If i now wich tracks are in this group it will be easy to turn all the plugins of because all the plugins per track are in an intrument rack, so it can be turn of be finding the path "live_set tracks (X) devices 0 parameters 0"

The only problem i encountered is that i can seem to find a way to find the path of all the tracks that are in the selelected group track. I could only see the group track ID of the track, i want this reverse. Is this even possible or should i make a  whole scanning device for this. 

I also could just manualy map all the on/off  switches of the instruments rack but this doesn't seem a clean solution for such a big project.
