webSamplr is an instant real-time sampler that samples anything from the web into Ableton Live on record armed tracks. The plugin was written for artists, producers and indie movie scorers to rapidly prototype and write sampling music in Ableton Live and setup a live sampling workflow. 
It has a built in browser in terms of Max's jweb object. 

The browser is supported by a SQL Lite database of sources classified into 5 types: music, samples, radio, video, social media.

Disclaimer: webSamplr has an external routing dependency in terms of soundflower (Mac) or audio jack (Win). The plugin also displays the sample rate of the current sample being streamed and a spectrogram of the audio.

MDL12 Max for Live device is suitable for Techno Music. You can receive basslines, special FX sounds, and percussion in return of Compositor Software feeders and other feeding sources like track or loop sounds. Just submit an information to MDL12 Max for Live audio effect with play button on to hear it processing the output, then press stop button to hear the feedback. Use Ableton Live tempo control to tune into different channels of modem to hear other feedback sources.

MDL12 space-time software modem has three levels of operation in real-time, which is sufficient for running a system on the discretization frequencies available for voice communications. MDL12 space-time software modem uses synchronous analysis of non-harmonic timbre and realizes timbre autocorrection system with bell-shaped transfer function. MDL12 achieves lower resource consumption by using x2048 oversampling with FM based function. It's system work with window buffer size of 4096 samples.

I happen to love tools that pull me into a different mental space. I especially like it if the result isn’t necessarily something I would come up with if I were planning - but rather brings a surprise to the game. Therefore, when I’m zipping around on maxforlive.com, I tend to drop into the Experimental section of the site. This month, I tripped over one of the most simple - but maybe most fun - devices I’ve played with in a while. Say hello to AntiTheory.

The author claims it’s buggy and just a beginning. I think it is perfect - bugs and all. The device is pretty straight-forward: you select an Amount (it’s a ‘scrambling amount’), hit the Go button, then pipe MIDI through it. At that point, it does a remap of the incoming MIDI, pushes out some randomly set MIDI output, and there you go.

If you are an experienced Max user, you might say “I coulda done that in about 10 minutes!” But I would respond “So why didn’t you?” In fact, the simplicity of the device, combined with the weird way that it does the value mapping, means that you can pick two or three notes and end up with a really fun - and really improbable - musical phrase.

Simple device, loads of fun, and easy to patch into your system; AntiTheory is the sort of MFL device that brings the excitement into even the most basic Max programming.

This is a fully-featured microKORG realtime editor built in MAX/MSP. Like the best inventions, it came out from a necessity, since my microKORG's was malfunctioning at the time.

I took inspiration from the work of 7oi.org but i refreshed the interface, code, and compatibility within Max 7. It's available in both Max and Live device versions.
