Does anyone know of a way to do timestretch in gen~?

MSP has [stretch~] based on Ztx, and timestretch options in [groove~]. 

It would be useful to do these or something similar in gen~.

I'd like to extract the volume of the first 16 harmonics of an incoming note sang by a vocalist. I assume that I need to recognise the pitch first by doing some kind of FFT analysis. Is there a way to do this in real-time? And how could I approach this? I worked with analyser~ in the past, but this external doesn't seem to be continued. Any suggestions are much appreciated.

I have a JSUI project where I want to present some attributes as a list but I can't figure out how it works. I've tried using the Display Mode setting for the attrui object in the Max inspector but it doesn't seem to do anything. I was wondering if there's something I have to do in my getter/setter functions for the attribute in order to present them in a drop-down list format in the same way you can set the Orientation attribute for an attrui object.

I really like the free Airwindows plugins. These plugins sound a lot better when oversampled. I could just up the sample rates of my projects but my computer can't always handle that and it's not so flexible. I also don't want to pay 70€ for meta plugin, sounds fine but is also not so nice in terms of workflow. I found that you can wrap any plugin in a m4l patch and I thought that I could oversample the plugin in there. Is that possible? It would be even cooler to make a universal wrapper m4l device that you could drop any effect, that does not natively support oversampling, into in ableton. Is that possible? :)

My question is: what's the easiest way to know if a device in a Live Set has been deleted?
I need something that works like a live.observer.

It's great to be able to link out to a web browser from a message box. 

I have been able to concatenate the google sitesearch with single word search terms i.e. 

; max launchbrowser https://www.google.com/search?sitesearch=cycling74.com&;q=RNBO

However, when trying to get an exact phrase the message box will turn this:

https://www.google.com/search?sitesearch=cycling74.com&;q=RNBO+"Raspberry Pi"

"https://www.google.com/search?sitesearch=cycling74.com&;q=RNBO+Raspberry Pi" (before the concatenation with ; max launchbrowser)

in the message box ready to launch the correct web page.

N.B.  Typing the link in manually Google automatically inserts a %20 in the gap between "Raspberry" and "Pi"

Any help with this conundrum would be much appreciated as it is stalling an app at the moment.

Hello everyone, I'm wondering if it's possible to save files (like a wav and txt) within a patch/device, knowing that these files will be overwritten when the patch is used. For now, I've simply been saving the files in a folder and calling them from there, but I'd like to know if there's a more elegant way to do this. 
I already tried to freeze and consolidate the device, I'm able to recall files but not to overwrite them.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I found this allpass filter in the form of matlab code. Its a special filter used to create inharmonicty in strings waveguides. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help me port it to genexpr?

I am unsure where something like a history operator fits in, where the actual input and output signal go, 

also little things like the periods which are in some lines, I heard it might be something to do with an array?
