The stage performance is an allegory for a ritual of „counting the dead“ as told in the story of "The Counting Sisters" by Amar Kanwar, based on Indian folk tales, where six women (in an act of political resistance) collect information around people who recently died due to political „issues“. Further it is the translation of a general phenomenon of digital interconnection: The more information we receive, the less we notice. The more we see, the less we see. 

Voice & resonating body form the nucleus of all sound and stand in interactive correspondence with a real time sound modulating Max7 patch. The performer’s body functions as a projection surface for visual translations of text immanent processes. The body extends from raw performative expressions to a tool of interaction between the performer and the computer. The voice is modulated, entering delay lines with flexible movements within a stereo panning, ring modulation, spectral delay with FFT, combfilter and pitch shifting.

"Voyage Apollonian" is an album of my recent works for violin and interactive computer.  This album also features transcriptions of three Brazilian composers: Egberto Gismonti, Hermeto Pascoal and Joaõ Bosco, and my 'signature' extended technique called "Subharmonics", extending the violin's range by one octave below without changing the tuning of the instrument.  

I use Max in all but one acoustic piece in this album; I also use Max for LIVE for the Brazilian pieces.  In addition, Max enabled me to use a motion sensor extracting the expression of the violin bow throughout this album.  I used IRCAM’s “MO” (Modular Musical Objects), and since 2016, my own Arduino prototype sensor “µgic” (pronounced ‘mu-zhik’).  "µgic" project, created in collaboration with media artist Liubo Borissov and Harvestworks in NYC, has been funded by itac.org, NYSCA, Governor Cuomo and the NY State Legislature, The Rockefeller Foundation’s NYC Cultural Innovation Fund and the National Endowment for the Arts.

 Saturday November 10, 2018 was the Florida Premier of Fredrick Kaufman's  Guernica Piano Concerto, which took place at FIU's Wertheim Performing  Arts Center. In honor of her former professor's special event, Dr. Liza  Seigido built an interactive projection featuring Pablo Picasso's  Guernica. As viewers approach the Guernica projection, they are  essentially integrated into the painting. A webcam mounted onto the installation structure senses the motion of viewers. When movement passes a certain threshold, which is determined by a simple counter, Max triggers the processing of the video feed from the webcam, and makes the background of the Guernica projection transparent. The processed video from the webcam is composited behind the Guernica projection. RGB values from the processed webcam feed are matched by colored pools of light produced by DMX stagelights that communicate with Max via the DXMIS VST plugin and hardware interface.
