This album is compiled from original live coded performances and jamsessions recorded between 2019 and 2021. Each track was coded live in a full performance, ranging from 15 to 45 minutes. I made a selection of best performances from the recordings and edited them to tracks of 4 to 9 minutes, (re-)arranging the best parts. The music and sounds were coded with the Mercury live coding environment. This language runs in Max 8, using NodeJS for the interpreter/parser, MaxMSP for the sequencing, synthesis and fx and Jitter for the texteditor and accompanying visuals. The titles of the tracks are chemical reactions or molecular structures, inspired by my fascination for nature, organisms and science. I create an image for every song to complement the name of the molecule. Hope you enjoy this work and consider supporting me.
