b.blocks is a library for Max/MSP/Jitter, providing a set of modules for quick prototyping in interactive multimedia systems.
Existing modules include video analysis, audio and communication with external devices.
Each module is an abstraction, used inside bpatcher objects, providing a set of controls for each module’s main functions. A full list can be found here.
The b.blocks library was developed in 2009 for my Masters thesis in the Multimedia program at FEUP – Porto, Portugal. It has since then been used in several applications and multimedia installations, and Master thesis proposals.
Suggestions and comments are most welcome.
