LiveMTC is a standalone app that allows generation of MTC from Ableton Live. Since MTC is very timing-sensitive it is not possible to program this inside a Max For Live device, in which events are tied to Live's DSP signal vector.

The zip contains the source code for the MTC generator app as well as the MFL device. Besides giving insight in how to generate MTC with Max, it shows an approach to syncing the two timelines (the one in Live and the one in the Max patch).
