Recently there has been many requests for additional oscillator wave forms beyond the basic set supplied in MSP~ and gen~. This oscillator has 5,504 individual wave cycles, organized as 128 smoothly morphing waves, in 43 sets.

The design is very simple, reading in a single audio file (included) that contains all the waves in continuous and contiguous segments. A gen~ object supports morphs between any waves in each set, and changes between any set, with transitions at zero crossings to eliminate clicks from wave discontinuities.

The morphing sets include harmonic sweeps, filter sweeps, vowel formants, and randomized loops (please note that the loops are for individual wave cycles, not for looper apps).

The demo turns itself on at startup. It is a Max 7 file but does not use any features specific to Max 7, so it should open in Max 6 also. Please see the Yofiel website page for more information.
