Cycling '74 Presents Max 7 Hang

One week across five different cities we will introduce you to Max 7 and its creative possibilities.

Whether you’re a seasoned user or have only thought about downloading our 30-day demo, we want to hangout with you and talk about Max.

Not since the introduction of Max 5 has a new release included so many updates and changes. Max 7 introduces a new video engine, quicker patching via new objects and an entirely new time stretching algorithm built from the ground up. In addition, it's now easier to drag and drop audio, video, VSTs and Max For Live devices directly into your patcher and be up and running.

Come for some swag, linger for refreshments, and stay for the people.

VERY interested in the Minneapolis hang. I have time to attend, and it will be my first time in the same room with anyone who even knows what Max/MSP is. I was a design engineer and project manager for Sequential Circuits back in the day, participated in the design and build of the first Zeta violin with Keith McMillan, and I have been using a large (60Mb) multi-level patcher for live performance for about 10 years. I would love to share it with other Max people, and learn, learn, learn.

When will time and place be nailed down? I'm open around that date in general, but would like to pin it down, so that nothing conflicts.

As soon as I can, Bruce. My host has just returned from a wedding in Ireland, and I expect he's behind and jetlagged. I'll update on the Monday night place/time as soon as it's nailed down.

Who is the host? I've been playing around the Twin Cities for a looong time.
Maybe we know each other, and didn't realize we were closet nerds.

if you are not in the USA, you should join at location #8, which is hintertupfingen behind the hill. there is space for only 3 people because the house is only 1.66 squaremeters, and between 10:00 and 10:07 i will be presenting the micromodular seqencer for sub-iphones.
