Package Arrival: Upshot 1.0

We are pleased to announce the release of the Upshot package, created by Benjamin Van Esser. The Upshot package is an extensive set of tools geared toward building generative and live performance patches in the Max programming environment. The package includes example patches that can serve as a complete online generative "album," along with event generators, trackers, sequencers, controllers, instruments, audio effects, and many other tools and utilities in addition to a complete set of help files.

You may also find Benjamin's Game of Life-based ULTOMATON patch and his Max for Live devices to be of interest, as well.

The Upshot package is available for download from the Max Package Manager.

It appears that there is some version mismatch/bug with Max 8.1.6, we are looking into it. Thanks for the report!

Does not understand this issue. Under operating system windows 10 home (os build 18363.1082) this is not an issue at all, maybe on the mac operating system? I use the latest version max version 8.1.6

I recently updated the Upshot package. Changes include a new launcher, new modules (o.a. us.morse, us.manualarp, us.cameraad, us.247, …) new snippets, timing issue fixes for all sequencer modules and a zoom-out function for the big example patches. Download is up in the Max Package Manager. Happy patching!
