Duncan Wilson (aka Ned Rush) is a musician, producer, developer, curator and broadcaster, sound and media artist and internet personality. He is perhaps most well known for his eccentric Youtube channel which has acquired a cult following of fans including artists such as Jamie Lidell, Bogdan Raczynski and Machinedrum. On this platform he has explored and shared many abstract concepts surrounding composition, performance and improvisational sound design and realtime visual art.
Through being curious about all aspects of music composition, this led him to a long period of studying the possibilities of Max, which further lead him to releasing Max For Live devices with Isotonik Studios, as well as hosting meet-ups and leading workshops with Music Hackspace for the Max Community.
Whilst releasing music and content over the years, during the pandemic he started More Kicks Than Friends, which was a weekly livestream on his Youtube channel featuring electronic music performances by artists from all over the world. Intended as a one off, it proceeded to run for 20 consecutive weeks with more shows planned for the future.
