Kevin Kripper is a generative artist, educator, and software developer from Buenos Aires, specialized in real-time graphics. He is best known as the creator of Vsynth, a widely used Max Package adopted internationally across artistic and academic communities. He also creates custom patches for artists and industry clients, a practical and ongoing professional experience that directly informs his teaching. He is currently a professor in the Art & Technology department at the University of Oregon.

Kevin Kripper is a generative artist, educator, and software developer from Buenos Aires, Argentina, based in Eugene, Oregon. His work addresses a wide variety of topics, technologies, and aesthetics, and has been exhibited internationally and recognized across both art and science festivals.

As an active member of the Max community for over a decade, Kevin is best known as the creator of the Vsynth Package, a set of modules for video synthesis, image processing, and vector-synthesis design that has been adopted worldwide by creatives, educators, students, and tinkerers.

On top of this, Kevin’s broader practice with Max includes the development of custom patches, standalone tools, and interactive systems for artists, performers, and industry clients, including Weirdcore, Meow Wolf, and others.

Lastly, Kevin has extensive teaching experience across universities, workshops, and independent art spaces. He currently teaches in the Art & Technology department at the University of Oregon, where he leads courses in vector-graphics, video-synthesis, and game art. He additionally offers one-on-one instruction, group workshops and lectures, and technical mentorship for artists working with Max, Jitter, GLSL, and real-time graphics pipelines.
