most stable msp alternative for qmetro?

Hi,
im currently working on a system in which I combine a jitter patch and an msp patch.
Since the qmetro is too unstable to drive the msp part, I would like to bang the jitter part with a counter~.
What is the most stable solution for this, and what would be the ideal preference settings for the scheduler to get the most stable framerate possible?
I attached a simple example, but im sure there are better approaches.

- Jun 20 2017 | 10:21 pmWhen I use MSP signals to control Jitter parameters I tend to use the snapshot~ object triggered by the Jitter qmetro. You can then use this value to manipulate a shader parameter (e.g. brightness) once per frame rendered.
