Need to replace JAVA object

Hello I created DataScapR, a sonification toolbox that uses Yahoo Finance data. Unfortunately, Yahoo has closed of its API so data cannot be downloaded anymore. They do offer something called YQL that should allow datadownloads but I am at a loss how to do this in Max. YQL is basically an implementation of SQL. I saw the SQL tutorial but that seems not to allow real-time data (correct me if I am wrong). Can anyone give me some pointers what would be the best thing to do?

Yeah, a lot of Yahoo APIs was closed nowadays. Also Java itself becomes more and more problematic.
I think, most future proof solution for now is using something which is WWWbrowser-basis: if you can find a service providing required data in a form compatible with contemporary browsers you may use [jweb] object to load them and parse (you can send messages from within JavaScript nested inside webpage loadaed into [jweb] to the other components of your patch).
      Alternatively check the [maxurl] object.
