Sample playback via max

    Hello everybody!
Im a very new user of max/msp and im trying to figure out a way for playing little pieces of music in an umpredictable way. Now im seeing that max/msp is more for midi inputs rather that wav, or mp3 files. But ive encountered an external object called "AiffPlayer" for the machintosh version that does what i need but I have a Windwos platform...
if anybody knows about such an object for windows it would be really helpful!!
    thanks,
    Juan Pablo

      Hi Juan Pablo,
There are many objects for sample playback. Check out groove~ or play~
Also tutorials 13 through 17 in the "MSP Tutorials and Topics" deal with
      sampling.
      Hope this helps,
      Nicolas

i am actually exspecting that someone now
recommends our new friend to update his
demo version to the latest 4.5.7.1.2.runtime
in order to build a multistage probability
      sequencer using java.
