I am trying to load a class I just compiled, however, when I try, it says I cannot load it. I have looked around and have already put the files in the correct places (in fact, Max recognizes the Jar file as being there) but it still won't load the files. anyone know what my problem might be?

Error messages? Console output? When you say "Max recognises the JAR file as being there" what do you mean exactly?

Have you checked that you have compiled it properly?

For example in eclipse if you are using that IDE you need to check that the source files are correctly being built to your bin folder?

You can check this to see if there are corresponding ".java" files in your src folder and ".class" files in your bin.

It is best practice to have subfolders inside your java project folder:

...javaWorkspace/Projectname/bin/current/testfile.class"

...javaWorkspace/Projectname/src/current/testfile.java"

Make sure that if you are using a separate location for your java files, outside of the cycling install file stucture, that your

max config file is configured properly. The above example should sort that issue out if so. You will need to update your
