Mira crashes constantly with Max 9.1.0 beta and 9.0

Hi, I am running Mira on my 12,9" iPad (latest iOS) to control a simple Max patch (v. 9) with three sliders, with which I handle (in midi) the volume of few tracks on Live 12. The iPad is connected directly via USB, and the wifi is disconnected, on both the iPad and the MacBookPro (M2 Max, with OS 13.3.1).
Mira is constantly disconnecting from the Max patch, and sometimes it crashes Max.
Moreover, whenever I load the patch and launch Mira on the iPad, Mira doesn't want to connect via USB, although I quit and relaunch it several times.
In order to make it connect, I have to reboot the iPad, and try again (sometimes more than once).
Can you tell me if I am doing something wrong? Or Mira has become suddenly outdated and buggy?
