Spectraplot ala Cipriani

The Book, "'Electronic Music and Sound Design', Max8 Vol1" is an incredible and helpful text.

The Book cover has patcher image showing a 'Spectraplot' image.

I am looking for direction in how to achieve this - I would like to view harmonic and noise content with axis enumeration as this image shows.
