Vision

The Vision package brings a collection of useful and easy-to-use computer vision tools to Max. Included are pose and motion trackers for hands, face, and body as well as object detection, segmentation, background subtraction, and depth estimation.

Some examples of the Vision tools in action:

You can track hands and fingers, as well as more descriptive 'poses' with jit.vis.hands (and parts/pose extension) and use this data control music and audio parameters or graphics drawing.

You can use jit.vis.facemesh to track facial landmarks as well as more descriptive expression tracking.

Easily recreate classic feedback effects without needing a greenscreen with jit.vis.bgsubtract.

Use jit.vis.body to track body poses from incoming video. This works great with dancers and interactive works to enable simple responsive control.
