Cata Sopros

Cata Sopros is an interactive sound installation. A collective musical instrument made with paper windmills that transform the users’ breath into sounds.

We built the windmills with electret microphones at the front and connected them to an Arduino. We then used Maxuino to get the sensor data into Max and played the sounds through Ableton Live.
