Compositor is the bottom-up sound synthesis and rhythm generation software suitable for techno and new age genres. It can be used for live performance or at home if you would like to listen to an uninterruptable mix, which is generated by mathematic function on the fly.

Of course, you find yourself thinking what this machine can do and here is the list of main functions:

  • Real-time rhythm generation suitable for new age and techno genres
  • Bottom-up sound synthesis by using the most outstanding synth technics
  • Granular synth engine for chopping up your samples
  • Tweak able envelopes for most of the parameters
  • Nice FX section consisting of room reverb and grain slicing for clap engine

Ruslan Yusipov approach to techno music captured through the years of experience in this algorithm and you can imagine how Compositor used for producing process. The software is for Windows and Mac with parameters tweaked by MIDI. So it could be a nice addition to the Live show where you would like to engage a persons opinion on the case: “If he or she can dance without a DJ?” – because Compositor auto mode is fully automatic rhythm and synthesis generation using probabilities and predetermined function.

How did this project use Max?
