The complete sound material is modulated and controlled within Max/MSP. As musical instruments we use different controllers connected to our Max patches: MIDI controllers, Game Pads, toy instruments, wii remote, E-drumset. The sound input consists of field recordings of Singapore that run through various processes of real time sound synthesis.

We don't use any sound libraries. E.g. all drum sounds played by Felix on his e-drumset are based on real time modulated field recordings in Max. The e-drumset turns into a giant MIDI-controller. Motion sensors like the wii remote control parameters like pitch level, timbre and rhythmical structure of a sound.

The further development of a wide range of electronic sound possibilities within Max/MSP as part of our musical interaction live on stage marks basically one of the most important aspects of this project.
