DNA - Dynamic Note Arranger

DNA is a generative Max for Live midi device which stores note data over 16 steps. Its purpose is to help composers with the fear of the blank project. It is a very flexible tool great for jamming out acid house bass lines, groovy unique drum patterns, as well as jazzy piano. DNA is an idea generating tool capable of creating dynamic and expressive sequences which would take much longer to program by hand.

Pitches and velocities are stored, and you can then generate random variations on the notes that have been input. Generated sequences can be chained up to four in a row in order to create larger phrases of up to 64 steps. The user has control over the rest percentage, duration, velocity range, pitches input over the 16 steps as well as the overall groove of the generated pattern.
