An real-time interactive-generative arpeggiator for happy accidents in composition and performance.
The user inputs two notes from a keyboard. The interval is calculated and notes are generated at that interval with the lower note as the root.
Unwanted notes can be filtered out to maintain a consistent key.
The arpeggiator has a number of real-time controls to facilitate expression and variation.
The tool also makes use of the kin.rhythmicator within a bpatcher for generative rhythms.
