Infinitely sustained glass breaking with Max
This patch was made for Koka Nikoladze's laptop piece for one percussionist - "Trollface", which was recently presented at Notam (Norwegian Centre for Technology in Music and the Arts).
This piece is made of more then 2.500 unique cutout sounds (words) from various YouTube videos and it begins with the glass breaking sound, which is sustained during the entire 10 min piece. Max is used for stochastic playback of short sample groups.
This video exposes how glass breaking sound was recorded, decomposed and then reconstructed by using Max.
The patch and the sample bank will be available for download around March 2015.
