LOOPPAD 64
its an M4L-device.theres quite some gen~ inside.
Hello,
Thnaks for that patch, that's pretty cool !
A user manual would be very helpfull yes, maybe just one page... to explain notions such as sync with T>Slot for example. In fact only some points, with a quick descprition of all the elements. Beacuse you did a pretty good job on the interface, it's easy to find out (but for Thru / +PLAY, SYNC and Slot>T / T>Slot).
If I'm rigth, T>Slot ON allows you to sync the playback of the sample with Live, right ?
By the way, when I'm using TouchOSC template, state of T>Slot button is not kept on ; when I hit the button on the iPad, it gets on then off when I remove (switch with SLot>T quickly then always both OFF). IF I do it by mouse, it keeps its state.
Thanks again !
Also : Rev and Roll Functions, when activated, stop the sample play. It is necessary to restart the play. Is there a way to do it "synchronised and automatic" : when I press Rev, the sample will be played rev next sync step with Live, without being stopped before (and same with Rev OFF back again) ?
(i.e. keep the T>Slot function continuous in Rev and Roll, if I understand correctly these points).
Thanks
hello ENCELADE,
thanks for the feedback,
...i definitely have to write a manual and do a tutorial video..right now i am still stuck in debugging and adding/removing features..
soo..
T>SLOT :: when you hold down T>SLOT and then press a button on the matrix, this slot will
start playing on the next rollover of the L64`s clock (thats the upper green bar on the ipad)
OR,if the slot is in "loop" -mode,it will stop.
anyway, slots that are "fired" via T>SLOT will just get started in sync with the L64,but continue playing with their own tempo that may or may not be the same as the L64`s tempo..
so actually,T>SLOT is meant to be a momentary switch,in the GUI its different because we dont have a touchscreen yet,do we?
to link LIVE`s clock and L64`s clock, you have to press the "SYNC" button.when you do so,a LED on the ipad will light up,indicating sync (or link) is on.whenever the tempo of either LIVE or L64 changes, its gonna sync the other.
REV should only stop the playback if the clip reaches its startpoint when in "1shot" -mode...
ROLL is meant to be momentary,i.e. when you roll a clip and release roll,it stops
i thought that would be more musical ,maybe it isnt??
anyway,i will check on REV and T>SLOT...its supposed to work...
Ok about REV and ROLL:
When you press either of them, the slots which are held down
With your fingers will roll or play reverse.
Roll and reverse at the same time will not work with slots set
To 1shot-mode...
Hi. First of all, congratulations for the LOOPPAD 64. Unfortunately I found no link to download it. Where can I find it?
Thank you.
