Patch To Canvas

In this project, compress-copied max patches are rendered on HTML canvas on the web browser. The motivation for this project is to have a quick look at the code shared on the Cycling ’74 forums or elsewhere when a computer with MAX installed is not available.

You can view the contents of [coll] and abstraction subpatchers with mouse click. Even though standard objects and most basic visual objects are rendered, not all UI objects are supported. I am planning to add new UI objects on case by case basis.

You need HTML5 compatible desktop browser to view the page. No support for mobile devices yet.

I hope you enjoy it.

Compress-Copied MAX patches are visualized with HTML5 canvas on the browser.

This is a really nice project – a good way to put patches in blogs, and a
step toward an HTML5 solution to running max from within a browser (something
that would be handy for handheld devices). Is it still ongoing, or does it have
a sf or github repository?
