Spectral Tools uses a time-expansion/compression algorithm based on Jean-Francois Charles’ “A Tutorial on Spectral Sound Processing Using Max/MSP and Jitter”. It allows for extreme stretching and freeze of short samples using video matrices.
The added effects are common tools for the transformation of sounds. It can be controlled via OSC for live performances.
