vArisPeed-Random Music Performace Max Patch
The vArisPeed patch is a tool for designing and performing realtime, random compositions from audio loop samples played at varying speeds typically between 0.01 and 0.99 of normal speed.
The parameters such as the duration of the piece and the random speed range are set by the user.
The patch is particularly useful for long form pieces where small incremental sonic changes are required over time.
I'd use this for creating control-signals to other elements, but not for directly sonifying loops. Or perhaps both *rubs hands together and stares maniacally into a sea of people who've already thought of that*
