Addendum: I know it is a great book and there is an amazing amount of work behind it. I would have bought it even for a higher price (59 EUR is a really fair price). Though, 26 EUR for shipping from Italy to Spain for a book seems a bit excessive to me. Shipping a book within the EU within 10 - 15 business days shouldn't cost more than around 5 EUR. Pricing it this way - unfortunately - seems like the publishing house is trying to hide the real price. I don't think this kind of practice is helpful for this work ..... :(

Hi Jan, thanks for the kind words!

About the prices, I spoke with the publisher, and I can confirm that the price he paid for shipping is exactly what he asked for. The publisher ships only traceable parcels by courier to prevent them from being lost, and the price for a 1.2 kg parcel is, unfortunately, very high (26 Euro).
And an untraceable parcel of that weight still costs much more than 5 euros. Unfortunately, only Amazon (or a very big online store) can keep the shipping expenses this low...
He also told me the 10 to 15 days shipping time is approximate, and the book will probably arrive sooner.

I hope I wasn't t sounding accusing or complaining. As I said the price of the book itself really reflects the intention for it to be accessible. That is very gracious. I also know how difficult it is for publishers to keep going alongside the unfair practices of amazon. I wouldn't have bought it there even if they would distribute it! I also know that the print, the bindings and the paper of your books are always of a good quality. The first edition of Volume 1 now companies me since 13 years if I recall it right - it has been in so many backpacks and places, carries a lot of notes and coffee stains inside and still holds up strongly. And waiting a few days for a book, that will probably be around me for many years, is really no problem :)
At the risk of sounding sentimental: I find well structured, thought out works like this by you and Allesandro - in a time, where knowledge seems to be more and more reduced to 10 min videos - very valuable.

Do each of the volumes cover different topics? Are they "reissues" of one volume, or are they completely separate volumes as part of a series? Thank you.

Is there any timeline for getting Volume 3 on Amazon Canada? It's currently only available from third party sellers at over $160.00 CDN. I could order from Barnes and Noble in the US, but even that is over $100.00 CDN with shipping.

Weird, it was available to order directly for a while (though with a delayed shipping date). I got my order in but it says it won't come until mid to late march. No idea why that is now gone. Amazon canada is pretty lame.
