Ghanta

Ghanta, a Sanskrit word for ‘bell’ (https://www.learnsanskrit.cc/translate?search=ghaNTA&dir=au). 

This software was made as Dana for three friends who are to become Mitras on 28th March 2024. Exploring closeness and proximity of the Three Jewels with a relationship to sound through experimentation. Using gongs as audio files the sample offset and stereo panning for left and right can be modified by moving the nodes (circles), (shift and mouse) can increase or decrease the size therefore offsetting randomised sample start points.

• Use waveform to specify sample points

• Nodes X Y and Size all change position 

• Placement of nodes affects (circles) L & R stereo field and waveform

• Changes Toggle, triggers metros for speed of all three nodes separately.

• Sliders increase speed

• And sample offset
