Grain Trail is a real-time granular synthesis effect created in Max for Live. Grains are generated randomly from incoming audio within a selected time range, creating a 'trail' following the incoming audio. The pitch and amplitude of each grain can be modulated individually based on its position in the trail, with optional randomisation.
