Interactive Kaleidoscope

I recently designed an interactive project, that was exhibited twice at Easel & Camera art gallery in collaboration with Dreamland Golf Club, Giza, Egypt. I am happy to say that it caught many people’s attentions with various ages, nationalities and careers.

It’s about a kaleidoscope that changes in shapes and colors according to colors of the atmosphere. It also involves an interactive sound.

I used Quartz Composer to create the kaleidoscope, and I used Max along with quick OSC to take screenshots of kaleidoscopes through a mobile phone, name pictures automatically, and save them in a specific folder on my computer.
