Madre is an interactive installation that symbolizes the social, cultural and political struggle of women from different eras and societies, who developed activities where their work reached an important social impact. Madre is a reflection on the concept of social impact of women and mothers struggling towards the society that surrounds them and which they influenced or they continue to influence. The installation is developed around the sculpture "Mother" created by the artist Magda Meseguer.

This interactivity allows the public to activate Madre when approaching the suspended sculpture, who will respond by saying one of the recorded phrases. Activation works through a sensor that detects the presence of the public in a specific area around the sculpture Madre used a real-time videomapping system able to shaping the projected area according to the shape of the sculpture.
