New path is a playful two dimensional sequencer that generates midi and controls device parameters. It works with a palette of different arrows like crossroads and teleports to generate melodies and harmonies. Colored shapes walk over this matrix and follow the arrows. You can set chance ratio's in every cell to control the decisions of the shapes. Every cell has many parameters and everything is automatable. And there's much more, watch the video!

New Path is a project I started in 2007 at my music school in Max/MSP 4. Over the last years it developed into the Max for Live device it now is. I've been looking forward to finally release it.
